Entry-Level Sales Representative

Sales candidates should have a strong interest in the respective industry sectors and will be responsible for contacting and connecting with related companies. Candidates will work with a fast-paced, fun and innovative team of professionals and creatives who are passionate about their work.

All team members, regardless of title, are encouraged to participate in and experience every part of the trade show process, from brainstorming to the nitty-gritty of event operations.

Compensation for entry-level sales representative offers a lucrative tiered commission structure and includes a base hourly salary.

Entry-Level Sales Representative – Job Purpose: Build business by identifying and selling prospects exhibit space & sponsorship opportunities, maintaining relationships with clients, and managing sales database.

The ideal candidate should possess:

Entry-Level Sales Representative Job Duties:

  • Identifying prospects and evaluating their position in the industry; researching and analyzing sales options.
  • Sell exhibit space and sponsorships by establishing contact and developing relationships with prospects
  • Maintaining relationships with clients by providing support, information, and guidance; researching and recommending new opportunities; recommending profit and service improvements.
  • Keeping copious notes of client interactions for company records in sales database
  • Preparing reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information.
  • Maintaining quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards.
  • Contributing to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Skills/Qualifications:

  • Quality writing, note-taking and speaking skills
  • Ability to research and qualify sales leads and present a logical sales proposal via phone conversation and subsequent email contact
  • Detail-oriented with regard to database maintenance, note taking, scheduling and reporting
  • Motivated to learn the trade show industry
  • Motivated to earn commission

Expo Admin Assistant – Part-Time

Graphics Designer/Marketing Assistant – Part-Time

Graphics Designer/Marketing Assistant 

The ideal candidate should possess:

  • Works well in a team environment
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Welcomes the need to multi-task multiple projects at a time

Skill Set

  • Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (photoshop, illustrator and indesign)
  • Must be creative, be able to meet deadlines and a team player
  • Familiar with maintaining a brand
  • Working knowledge of WordPress and/or Joomla a plus
  • Experience in designing brochures and various signs

Job Responsibilities:

  • Execute on marketing plans and tactics
  • Assist in the development and execution of various marketing campaigns, including strategy, creative development and production
  • Provide support to manage marketing initiatives from development to execution
  • Demonstrate ability to think creatively and provide solid rationale for recommendations
  • Implement assigned projects within time constraints
  • Work with outside vendors such as graphic designers, printers, venues etc.
  • Manage inventory and re-ordering of promotional items and collateral
  • Assist to plan and execute corporate events
  • Maintain corporate website as well as posting updates and social posts
  • Proofread marketing materials and other corporate documents
  • Develop copy and design for press releases, newsletter, corporate website, social media, campaign content, collateral and manuals.
  • Maintain schedules, deadlines and project status for each assigned marketing activity
  • Analyze and report on marketing activities
  • Market research
  • Other duties as assigned
